Project Manager - Water Wastewater Engineer
based in
Atlanta, GA (Chamblee) . The position requires a strong understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure and process design, preferably with municipal systems. The role involves managing both public and private projects, with a focus on local municipal and quasi-governmental clients (e.g., water/sewer authorities). Candidates should have strong knowledge of Civil 3D, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and Microsoft Office; experience with InfoWorks WS and/or InfoWater by Innovyze is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and a P.E. license are required. Responsibilities
Lead and manage municipal water/wastewater projects for public and private clients, with a focus on local municipalities and quasi-governmental authorities. Coordinate and manage multiple large or complex projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence. Develop and mentor project staff, supporting and evaluating individuals to maximize potential. Ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget under high-level administrative supervision. Utilize Civil 3D, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and Microsoft Office; experience with InfoWorks WS and/or InfoWater is preferred. Minimum Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
Registered Professional Engineer license required. Experience:
7+ years of experience designing municipal water/wastewater projects. Skills
Advanced knowledge of project tracking software (Vision / Microsoft Project). Intermediate knowledge of Word/Excel. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Project experience in the southeastern United States, preferably Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina.
