As a Sr. Associate in Project Management at Capital One you will leverage organizational and leadership skills to innovate, build, and maintain well-managed project plans and capabilities to tackle business problems. As a Sr. Associate within Capital One's dynamic Talent Acquisition organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our enterprise by leading critical recruiting related initiatives. This position demands a unique blend of strategic thinking, meticulous organization, and strong leadership to drive innovation and execute well-managed project plans across cross-functional groups. Your core responsibility will involve identifying and addressing complex business problems related to talent acquisition and overseeing their successful implementation from conception to completion. You will leverage your expertise to design, build, and maintain robust project frameworks that enhance our ability to attract, recruit, and retain top-tier talent across all levels of the organization. As an HDT Sr. Associate Project Manager you will: Manage medium to large-scale, complex, cross-departmental projects that directly impact the company. Drive cross-functional projects, ensuring deliverables and timelines are met while identifying, mitigating, and escalating risks and issues; manage complex upstream and downstream project impacts. Plan, design, manage, and execute project plans from feasibility to implementation. Leverage problem-solving skills to ensure project plans align with intent, remain within committed scope, and maintain key project documentation. Conduct regular project team meetings, document progress, assign next steps, and report status to stakeholders. Partner with project customers, providing strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery. Provide clear updates on work, contribute to process improvements, and present information as a thought partner. Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure commitment delivery. Lead special projects autonomously and in partnership with cross-functional teams. Influence across all levels of the Talent Acquisition and HR organizations. Collaborate with the leadership and communications teams to plan and execute high-priority, consistent, and frequent organizational communications to internal and external audiences. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects from initiation to completion across multiple departments or business units. Autonomously delivers and proactively drives work within and outside of project scopes. Innovates locally and drives improvements beyond defined scope. Discerns core priorities and works based on them, proactively escalating impediments and communicating updates. Proven problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Exhibits a high level of personal ownership, confidentiality, and flexibility. Superior time management, organization, and prioritization skills. Proficient in analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
