Trading Operations Specialist

A global proprietary trading firm with decades of experience is seeking a Trading Operations Specialist to support trading desks across multiple international locations. The firm operates across asset classes including Fixed Income, Equities, FX, Commodities, Energy, and cryptoassets, leveraging advanced technology and a collaborative culture to drive innovation and performance. Key Responsibilities: Own and enhance operational processes and trading tools. Support and upgrade risk management and trading technologies. Collaborate with technology teams to improve and integrate new tools. Reconcile trades and positions with clearing houses, brokers, and counterparties. Calculate and substantiate daily P&L. Provide operational support for crypto trading activities. Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in trading operations, risk management, or related roles. Familiarity with exchange-traded and OTC derivatives. Experience with crypto markets and related technologies. Proficiency in Python, Git, Linux, and Cron. Strong problem-solving and independent working skills. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or financial discipline. This role will be onsite out of the firm's Chicago office. The salary for this role is $110,000 - $150,000 base salary with a discretionary bonus.
