Overview
Salesforce is looking for a dedicated and multifaceted Manager to join the management-led SOX 360 Program Office team to support our team's strategy, growth, process excellence and innovation. Reporting to the Senior Director of the SOX team focusing on Quote to Cash End-to-End Business Processes, this role requires the ability to understand business processes, identify risks and gaps in controls, and transform business knowledge into useful solutions that support an effective control environment. The ideal candidate will lead change, communicate clearly, support recommendations, perform SOX risk assessments and scoping, participate in readiness and process/control improvement initiatives, and influence cross-functional teams. Work cross-functionally to support a changing SOX landscape and drive process improvement; act as a strategic advisor to the company. Provide end-to-end business knowledge to assist in SOX readiness and program maturation activities. Own assigned process areas, understand business activities, policies, and external accounting guidelines; serve as a subject matter authority for those areas. Assist in developing the annual SOX prioritization assessment and plan. Collaborate with functional teams to review processes, identify risks, design controls, reduce risk and exposure, and evaluate deficiencies. Apply ICFR design, implementation and testing practices to respond to identified risks. Ensure SOX documentation (flowcharts, narratives, controls) is up to date and properly maintained. Collaborate with teams to ensure key controls are performed satisfactorily and compliant with outlined processes. Operate effectively in a dynamic environment, think creatively, recognize interdependencies, and enable innovation. Drive breakthrough solutions and momentum to support Salesforce goals. Required Qualifications
5+ years of related audit and accounting experience. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required. Strong background in public company SOX compliance, accounting, and finance processes; understanding of control design and operational efficiency. Knowledge of key business processes including Quote-to-Cash, Order-to-Cash, ASC 606; familiarity with PCAOB requirements and US GAAP. Familiarity with financial systems as they relate to internal controls. Preferred Qualifications
Recent Big 4 experience preferred. Professional certifications such as CPA or CIA or equivalent are a plus. Experience supporting a company\'s SOX program and implementing a system of internal controls in a large-scale environment. Customer-service approach to help business process owners navigate the SOX program, including working with non-accounting partners. Ability to build strong working relationships across internal departments, including international locations, IT, and auditors. Effective communication, influence, and collaboration with cross-functional and remote teams. Willingness to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement. Self-motivated, adaptable to change, able to meet tight deadlines, and capable of multitasking in a high-growth environment. Strong leadership and project management capabilities to lead projects through fast-paced lifecycles. This role is hybrid and requires going into the office 3 days per week. About Salesforce
