Supply Chain Analyst – BB228
Alameda, CA • On Site • 3+ Months
Responsibilities
Create and manage purchase orders and sales orders in the SAP ERP system.
Update order tracking details in Excel-based files.
Coordinate delivery schedule updates with internal stakeholders, CMOs, and partners.
Assist with inventory movements within the SAP ERP system and reconcile inventory between client and partner ERPs.
Perform goods receipts within SAP and interface with internal teams across Clinical, Manufacturing, and Quality functions as well as external partners for inbound/outbound logistics.
Coordinate activities with transportation carriers, customs brokers, and importers.
Document and monitor on-time and in-full delivery to delivery points; research import/export requirements by country and transport lane.
Review and ensure documentation is prepared and coordinated between third-party ship sites, CMOs, depots, and sites; ensure compliance for all transport lanes.
Monitor critical shipments across each leg of transport; report shipping incidents to Quality Assurance.
Assist in the administration of the Transportation Management System (TMS) for commercial and clinical supplies as required.
Review billing invoices for payment and apply for import/export permits as needed.
Stay informed of global regulatory changes related to international trade to ensure compliance.
Represent Supply Chain in meetings and provide visibility of shipping status through reports to stakeholders.
IRT management; perform returns and reconciliation actions of Investigational Product.
Qualifications
Education: 1-2 years of supply chain experience; BS/BA in a related discipline.
Experience with export/import documentation requirements; understanding of GxP in relation to transportation and materials management.
Experience with SAP is a plus; awareness/certification for dangerous goods shipping is a plus.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially spreadsheets and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail; ability to multi-task and prioritize under time constraints; strong communication skills.
Working Conditions
G&A and development environment in Alameda; primarily indoor clerical work.
Occasional after-hours and weekend work when overseeing critical shipments.
