Sheet Metal General Superintendent
with a passion for commercial or government construction projects? We are seeking a highly skilled and well-rounded individual to join our Field Operations team in the King’s Bay, GA and Jacksonville, FL areas. If you’re driven by safety, quality work, and delivering on schedule and within budget, this could be your next opportunity. Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise
all Sheet Metal activities. Coordinate
assigned crews and subcontractors
to ensure seamless execution of Sheet Metal installation in compliance with project requirements and timelines. Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to
project specifications , maintaining alignment with RQ’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Work closely with the GC Superintendent to support coordination of
multiple scopes of work
across the project site. Manage mechanical installations for
government and military projects , ensuring adherence to all regulatory and safety standards. Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to keep projects on track. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, emphasizing teamwork and professionalism across all crews and subcontractors. Required Qualifications
Four or more years
of experience as a Sheet Metal Superintendent (government, military, or large commercial construction projects preferred). Four or more years
of field or trade experience as a journey-worker level Sheet Metal Installer (government, military, or large commercial construction projects preferred). Trade school apprenticeship program completion preferred. Experience with duct installation, AHUs, fans, and procurement of material. Experience in the
design-build industry
is a plus. CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour Certifications ,
EM-385 , and
STS
required (training can be provided). High school diploma or GED
required. Computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook preferred). BIM software knowledge is preferred, with training available. What We Offer
