Overview
POM Wonderful is the largest grower and producer of fresh pomegranates and pomegranate juice in the United States. We grow, harvest, package, and market fresh pomegranates, pomegranate arils, and pomegranate-blended juices and teas. With nearly two million pomegranate trees in Central California, we aim to deliver high-quality products while supporting sustainability and community initiatives. What the Fresh & Arils Inventory Lead will do
Create, update, and review Fresh and Arils SWS/SOPs in preparation for the fresh season and new processes related to fresh inventory and related tasks. Create and print cycle counts for weekly and end-of-month counts. Perform physical counts and reconcile variances. Review and reconcile raw material, finished goods, or setbacks and identify root causes; communicate findings to the Fresh Inventory Control Supervisor. Collaborate with other departments to correct variances that can be resolved through normal processes. Complete inventory adjustments in Oracle as necessary to correct variances that cannot be corrected through normal processes. Direct other employees performing front-line tasks related to Fresh, Arils, Lemon, and Scale house functions or other ad hoc projects. Serve as a back-up for Beverage Inventory Control, including forklift operation to correct inventory variances and other tasks. Create inventory count reports using established systems and processes. Reconcile, audit, and correct inventory counts using Oracle and other systems. Support other ad hoc Beverage Inventory functions as needed. Perform other miscellaneous functions as assigned by supervisor/manager. Qualifications
Functional knowledge of Oracle R12. Advanced knowledge of PC software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Open-minded, collaborative, and team-oriented attitude. Ability to multitask effectively and be motivated to learn. Flexibility with daily work schedule. Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to travel to outside warehouses and facilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Forklift certified. 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or equivalent education/experience; ability to operate forklift equipment safely.
