GFT is looking for a dynamic Project Manager with strong technical and project management experience to join our Water/Wastewater practice in South Florida. You will contribute to innovative solutions for sustainable water management and infrastructure, focusing on dams and levees, advanced water and wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and conveyance, collection, and transmission. Projects involve integrating technology, sustainability, and compliance to protect public health and enhance quality of life. The PM will manage design consultants delivering design projects or contractors performing construction for municipal clients in a staff augmentation role. Projects may include WTP expansion, WWTP rehabilitation, water, sewer, reuse, or stormwater initiatives. The PM will report to the City’s Senior PM and perform duties at the Client’s offices. Responsibilities

(in this capacity): Develop and review scopes of work and costs. Coordinate internal approval processes for City commissions. Track consultants’ deliverables, schedules, and risk factors. Provide recommendations to the Senior PM on designated projects. Review invoices and manage the City’s bidding process. Participate in and lead project teams in planning, design, and construction administration of water and wastewater infrastructure improvements. Coordinate work activities by various technical staff and consultants, including developing and implementing study and design standards, leading progress meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, tracking schedules and budgets. Oversee construction contract management and observation services. Prepare reports and permit applications. Supervise and mentor junior-level engineers. Demonstrate professional technical writing and verbal skills. Engage in the water/wastewater engineering industry and related activities. Education and Experience

BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering (MS preferred). 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater, including design of water and/or wastewater infrastructure (studies, plans, and specifications). Professional Engineer License in the State of Florida. Progressive experience in evaluation, design, permitting, and construction administration of treatment facilities, pumping stations, storage and distribution facilities, and wastewater collection systems. Demonstrated project management experience with budget and schedule monitoring and control. Experience with client relations and business development. Experience with AutoCAD and/or BIM preferred. Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills; excellent written and verbal communication with ability to present to clients. Compensation

Salary range:

$130,000 - $150,000 . Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location. Benefits and Work Environment
