A Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Supply Chain Management delivers high-quality, practice-oriented education in supply chain, logistics, operations, purchasing, or aviation logistics. This non-tenure-track position emphasizes teaching excellence, curriculum development, and student engagement. Faculty are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students, and contribute to departmental service initiatives. The role may involve collaboration with industry partners in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to enhance experiential learning opportunities. Candidates typically hold a terminal degree in supply chain management or a related field and demonstrate a commitment to applied teaching and professional development. Some research involvement within the department is expected. Minimum Qualifications

Terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., DBA) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a closely related field Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level, preferably in supply chain or logistics courses Strong knowledge of industry practices and current trends in supply chain management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective classroom instruction and student engagement Ability to develop and deliver curriculum that integrates theory with practical applications Willingness to participate in departmental service, student mentoring, and community outreach Commitment to applied teaching and continuous professional development Preferred Qualifications

Industry experience in logistics, operations, aviation logistics, or supply chain analytics Experience teaching graduate-level courses or executive education in supply chain topics Proven ability to integrate real-world applications into classroom instruction Strong networking ties with industry professionals and organizations in the Dallas-Fort Worth region Engagement in professional associations like CSCMP, INFORMS, or APICS Demonstrated success in mentoring students and supporting career development Contributions to curriculum innovation or development of experiential learning modules Experience in participating in scholarly research through presentation and publication Required Licenses/Certifications
