Non-Exempt (hourly) Summary
Supervises, trains and monitors the performance of assigned banquet staff, ensuring that all procedures are completed to department and location standards. Essential Functions
Maintains complete knowledge of service requirements for assigned function and communicates expectations to banquet staff. Supervises banquet staff; ensures quality service is provided to guests. Greets guests upon arrival and assists in seating as required; maintains effective guest relations and resolves guest concerns. Supervises event setup and breakdown procedures; contributes to overall cleanliness and organization of facility and event location. Performs special projects delegated by management; stays updated on relevant department and location developments. Qualifications

1 to 2 years banquet supervisory experience. Excellent people and communication skills; proven experience supervising banquet staff in an event setting with outstanding customer service. Willingness to learn and perform new banquet event programs and services. Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation. Flexibility with schedule; evenings and weekend work required. Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates. Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Physical Demands
Regularly stand and use hands; reach with arms; talk or hear. Occasionally sit, walk, climb/balance, stoop/kneel/crouch/crawl. Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment

Pay:
