As the Director, Government Programs – Medicare & Medicaid, you will lead the strategic expansion of MedInsight’s footprint in the Medicare Advantage and Medicaid Managed Care sectors. In this highly visible role, you will drive opportunity identification, shape go-to-market strategy, and champion the value of our data analytics solutions across the government payer landscape. You will represent MedInsight at national conferences, influence product innovation, and guide teams through complex RFPs and procurement cycles. Your efforts will help establish a culture of accountability, metrics-based storytelling, and client-centered success across our government initiatives. Primary Responsibilities
Lead strategic growth initiatives to position MedInsight’s software and services within Medicare Advantage and Medicaid Managed Care markets. Identify, assess, and respond to federal and state-level government opportunities, including RFPs and pre-acquisition activities. Collaborate cross-functionally to define and package government-specific solutions, such as “Network Optimizer for Government” and “MA Insights.” Refine product positioning of integrations such as ProData, MACVAT, MANI, and the Quality Engine to align with government priorities. Serve as a thought leader on value-based care contracting, continuously assessing the evolving needs of government payers and adapting strategy accordingly. Represent MedInsight at key industry conferences, client meetings, and policy forums to build and strengthen relationships with decision-makers. Define client ROI and ensure value delivery through data-driven frameworks and storytelling. Foster a performance culture of trust, accountability, and innovation within the team. Establish partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to build influence and grow MedInsight’s credibility in the public payer space. Requirements
6+ years of experience in the U.S. government healthcare sector, including Medicare Advantage and/or Medicaid Managed Care Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, integrating business development, product, and technical workstreams Strong working knowledge of CMS programs, procurement cycles, and government contracting vehicles Demonstrated success with enterprise sales strategies and pre-RFP positioning in the public sector Expertise in identifying and quantifying client ROI and value realization Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders Data-savvy with comfort using analytics tools to support decision-making and proposal development Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capabilities Personality traits: highly curious, honest, adaptable, resilient, competitive, humble, and solutions-oriented Preferred Skills
Experience developing or launching data analytics or healthcare software products for government clients Familiarity with Medicaid waiver programs, dual-eligible strategies, and state innovation models Background in government affairs, regulatory strategy, or public health policy a plus Prior experience collaborating with or working within CMS, state Medicaid agencies, or MCOs What makes this a great opportunity?

The overall salary range for this role is $131,600 - $260,640. For Candidates Residing In
Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia: $144,760 - $238,920. New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco: $157,920 - $260,640. All other locations: $131,600 - 217,200. A combination of factors will be considered, including education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc. This role can be located remotely within the United States.
