Position
A Senior Wealth Planner is a dedicated tax and estate professional who focuses on clients with ongoing financial planning needs and provides planning advice in areas such as cash flow management, insurance advisory, employee benefits, and retirement planning. The individual will partner with Rockefeller Private Advisors to deliver holistic financial planning and comprehensive advisory solutions that optimize inter-generational wealth transfer through customized strategies. This role is a key member of the collaborative, team-centric client servicing approach within Family Office Counseling.
Responsibilities
Partner with Private Advisors under Rockefeller Global Family Office (RGFO) to understand clients’ financial objectives, design customized plans, and strategize and execute these plans. Conduct quarterly review meetings with clients.
Identify additional planning needs beyond clients’ financial objectives to offer bespoke strategies that ensure wealth preservation across generations.
Provide clients with quarterly reports on net worth, cash flow, risk management/insurance summaries, estate, and tax planning.
Review and recommend insurance strategies, employee benefits, retirement, and charitable planning.
Coordinate with other Family Office Solutions such as bill pay and CFO analytics.
Contribute to the growth of Family Office Counselor Services.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Juris Doctorate (JD) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred.
CFP certification; MBA considered.
At least 7 years of experience in financial planning, especially for high-net-worth clients.
Experience managing at least 20 ongoing client relationships.
Skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and reprioritize under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, on complex topics.
Extensive knowledge of Family Office Financial Planning.
Enthusiastic, positive approach to problem-solving and client service.
Strong collaboration and partnership skills.
Leadership ability to manage and delegate within a team.
Experience with eMoney preferred.
