The primary purpose of your job is to assist the Food & Nutrition Services Director in the operation of the Food Service Department, including staffing, food ordering, meal preparation, food delivery, food safety and kitchen sanitation, in accordance with community policies, physician orders, resident care plans and governing standards and regulations. You will help ensure quality nutritional services on a daily basis, cook and supervise food service staff, and follow all health, sanitary, infection control policies and food service department policies and procedures. Education & Qualifications
Must possess a High School Diploma, or equivalent. Must possess SERV Safe certification with Food Handler level II or similar food safety certification per state requirements. Previous experience in long-term care preferred but not required. Previous cooking and supervisory experience preferred. CDM preferred. Must be able to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions. Must possess and demonstrate the ability to carry out verbal and written directions. Shift and wage
