Overview

Iona University, an NCAA Division I institution and a member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Assistant Softball Coach. This is a full-time, 12-month position and reports to the Head Coach. The Assistant Coach for Softball assists the Head Coach in planning and operating all aspects of the softball program at Iona University. This includes planning and preparing for practices, all competitions, and providing input on player evaluation and other decisions concerning team operations. The Assistant Coach will actively support the scouting of opponents and the breakdown of our own performances. The Assistant Coach also has on- and off-campus recruiting responsibilities to identify, encourage and evaluate applicants and student athletes at Iona, in accordance with NCAA and University policies. The role will play a key part in the development of our program culture and identity.
