Responsibilities
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Some managers lead Departments and may manage Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to their team and other managers. The Guest Service Department Manager’s responsibilities include ensuring Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, executing sales promotions, training service staff in service procedures, and organizing the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service. The Kitchen Department Manager’s responsibilities include delivering great quality and fast food, ensuring safety, controlling food cost, and training kitchen staff in production procedures, including new items added to the menu. The People Department Manager’s responsibilities include hiring qualified crew, training them well, and scheduling to meet restaurant sales and profit goals. This manager also ensures Crew members get off to a good start and stay motivated. Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. We seek positive team players with flexible schedules who enjoy a fast-paced McDonald’s environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
