The ESG Director is a direct-hire, full-time hybrid position based primarily at the company’s headquarters in Columbus, Indiana, with flexibility for occasional work from home. The role involves regular travel to additional U.S. operations and dealer networks. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
POSITION OVERVIEW The ESG Director will lead the strategic development and expansion of a North America–wide sustainability program. Reporting to executive leadership, this newly created role will establish, manage, and scale an ESG management system across manufacturing, warehouse, and dealer networks. The ideal candidate will be an ESG subject matter expert with strong analytical and leadership skills, experienced in implementing reporting frameworks, managing high-visibility initiatives, and engaging stakeholders across corporate and community levels. This individual will represent the organization in global conversations and ensure alignment with enterprise-wide standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and lead a comprehensive ESG management system across North America operations
Serve as subject matter expert on ESG reporting frameworks (GRI, CDP, SASB, Sustainalytics) and compliance requirements
Drive organizational alignment on sustainability goals, KPIs, and reporting systems while mentoring and growing a dedicated ESG team
Represent the company in ESG meetings with external stakeholders and industry partners
Oversee ESG data collection, analysis, reporting, and communication through dashboards, sustainability reports, and presentations
Manage ESG budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies to reduce environmental impact
QUALIFICATIONS
Deep expertise in ESG, sustainability, and carbon reduction strategies within manufacturing or warehouse environments
Strong analytical and project management skills with proficiency in MS Office and analytical software
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and scale new programs across multiple locations
Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging executive and global stakeholders
ESG credentials or certifications (e.g., GRI, CDP, Sustainalytics) highly preferred
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This opportunity offers a competitive salary of $200,000 – $250,000, plus sign-on bonus potential and relocation support.
