American Druze Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgetown University: Main Campus: Walsh School of Foreign Service. The Georgetown University Center for Contemporary Arab Studies (CCAS) is pleased to partner with the American Druze Foundation (ADF) to offer the ADF Fellowship in Druze and Arab Studies at CCAS. The purpose of the ADF Fellowship is to promote research on the Druze and Arab minorities with a concentration in the political, economic, and social history of the Druze. The ADF Fellowship supports academic research in the disciplines of history, political science, sociology, economics, anthropology, and archaeology. It cannot be used to support research that relates essentially to matters theological or religious in scope and nature. Eligibility and Application Requirements

The fellowship will be awarded to a doctoral graduate (Ph.D.) from an accredited university or granting institution. Applicants must have a record of relevant research in the disciplines of history, political science, sociology, economics, anthropology, and archaeology. Applicants will be assessed on the originality of their scholarship and the high quality of their academic record. Application requirements include: Cover letter Curriculum Vitae (CV) Names of two references Course proposal for seminar 500 word research/publication proposal Writing sample (dissertation chapter, book chapter, or article) The application deadline for the 2025-2026 ADF Fellowship is January 2, 2026.
