The Department of Neurobiology at UC San Diego seeks Project Scientists (non-tenured, Assistant, Associate, or Full level). Candidates should have experience in Neurobiology or related fields, capable of independent and collaborative research. Topics include neural circuits, neurotransmitter switching, genetics, cholinergic transmission, axon guidance, synapse formation, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Responsibilities include designing experiments, training students, leading research projects, participating in scientific meetings, and authoring scientific publications and grant proposals. The environment is highly collaborative, involving multiple disciplines and levels of researchers. Appointment level depends on experience. Full description:

Ph.D. in Neurobiology or related field; at least 4 years of postdoctoral experience in relevant areas; experience in mentoring and research training, especially with minoritized communities. Application Requirements
