Production Supervision Manager

Job Description Summary Front Line leader who will be managing a group of production machinist to accomplish daily, monthly and annual goals and objectives. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Oversight and management of front-line, hourly machinists. Utilize existing or learned technical depth to help solve production issues. Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing experience) + minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience. Desired Characteristics Prior experience supervising in a manufacturing environment. Prior experience in Lean Manufacturing. Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
