Overview: Responsible for the guest arrival and departure experience, including transporting guest luggage, parking and retrieving guest vehicles, escorting guests to rooms, and informing them of hotel amenities. Attends to guest needs throughout their stay, ensuring a positive experience and thorough knowledge of hotel services and features.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitary guidelines issued by Rosewood, CDC, OSHA, and local authorities to mitigate COVID-19 exposure.
Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures, and standards to ensure high-quality service.
Ensure standards are maintained daily at a superior level.
Use equipment correctly and maintain its proper functioning.
Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs, maintaining positive relations.
Know all hotel services, features, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
Maintain hotel property including bell carts, bikes, umbrellas, and other equipment.
Assist with Butler services and resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
Transport luggage to/from guest rooms and assist with locating lost luggage.
Explain safety features and room amenities to guests.
Offer packing/unpacking services and explain laundry and pressing services.
Provide directions and information about hotel functions and local transportation.
Ensure appearance and cleanliness of lobby and luggage areas.
Perform other duties as required, with flexibility for additional tasks.
Qualifications:
Prior hospitality experience, preferably in bell or door service.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and good judgment.
Ability to work as part of a team and maintain confidentiality.
Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of hotel services and ability to give clear directions.
Ability to remain calm and courteous with demanding guests.
Physical ability to lift at least 35 pounds and perform physical movements required by the job.
Valid Driver’s License with ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.
Hourly pay rate: $18.00
