Qualifications Demonstrated experience founding, scaling, and successfully exiting a minimum of one venture and an earned Master’s degree in a related field are required for the position. Qualified applicants will demonstrate one or more of the following:
passion for teaching and mentoring and deep belief in entrepreneurial or creative thinking and in developing nascent entrepreneurs
expertise and ability to teach courses in entrepreneurial finance (raising equity and debt financing, cap tables, burn/fume rate, breakeven analysis, key financial ratios, etc.)
expertise and ability to teach courses in entrepreneurial marketing (defining, targeting, and reaching customers, building a brand from scratch, digital marketing expertise, PR, etc.)
passion for mentoring students in team-based projects, particularly in incubator or accelerator-style programs
knowledge of or experience with scaling ventures of any kind (e.g., startups, nonprofits, social movements), including identifying and securing resources for sustainability
Position Summary This individual will be expected to teach courses in Entrepreneurship at the undergraduate level, contribute to the Center’s co-curricular programming, actively engage students outside of class, and participate in departmental, College, and University service. The teaching load is three courses per semester. Between the two positions, teaching core courses, electives, and joining the teaching team of the startup accelerator program. We are particularly interested in individuals who have the expertise to teach entrepreneurial finance and/or entrepreneurial marketing.

About the Center for Entrepreneurship Our Center is positioned in the College of Arts and Sciences, offering an interdisciplinary minor in Entrepreneurship, guided by the liberal arts and the university’s motto: Pro Humanitate, For Humanity. Students minoring in Entrepreneurship pursue majors across 22 disciplines, providing a rich environment for diverse perspectives and collaboration to identify high impact solutions.
