organization. The

Director, Global Research

will use their subject matter expertise in commodities market research and analytics/modeling to build and execute team strategy and drive department objectives across the agriculture and agri-energy markets. The role is also responsible for leading a team of industry experts who will develop and communicate data-driven commentary focused on key market trends and relevant content areas that impact the agriculture marketplace. This position is based in our

Inver Grove Heights, MN

corporate office and will work a

hybrid schedule. Responsibilities

Provide leadership and supervision to Global Research employees at all locations Establish Global Research strategies and priorities as necessary to meet company objectives and needs Work collaboratively with team to generate deliverables in a timely manner Develop and oversee the development of market outlooks and research based on commodity market fundamentals across multiple commodity classes that are relevant to CHS and its customers Deliver presentations to a wide variety of stakeholders including internal staff and customers Develop and build a range of models and algorithms that provide critical business and trading insights and drive decisions Leverage internal and outside resources to achieve goals in a timely manner Based on research and internal discussions, identify and develop thought leadership positions and research on key topics for agriculture and agri-energy Work with external clients to address research questions and needs Minimum Qualifications (required)

Bachelors degree in research science, economics, analytics, engineering, or related fields 7+ years of experience working on commodity markets and analysis of supply and demand fundamentals or similar relevant experience Prior leadership experience with progressively advancing level of leadership responsibilities Series 3 license or ability to obtain within 60 days Additional Qualifications

Advanced degree preferred in research science, economics, analytics, engineering, or related fields Extensive knowledge of grains and oilseeds markets, crude and refined products markets and macroeconomic markets Knowledge of desktop publishing platforms (e.g., Piktochart) or equivalent presentation tools Knowledge of advance quantitative analysis and statistical modeling packages (SAS, R, etc.) Prior experience in leading a fundamental analysis or agriculture or energy commodity research function Compensation and Benefits
