Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network/System Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC and Kennesaw, GA. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities
Deployment, Middleware and Environment Management for lower-level test environment Maintain the environment to be pristine and as production-like as possible Collaborate with Technology Infrastructure Teams and Development Testing Teams to support integrated independent releases, software/hardware upgrades, and server upgrades Perform troubleshooting, analysis, research and resolution using advanced query and programming skills Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and problems including issues escalated by Advisory users Partner and build subject matter expert teams to identify cause and resolution where root cause is caused by technology supported by partner teams Provide monitoring of the environment during releases or independent changes and track changes to the production environment Identify areas of improvement in monitoring, application stability, and speed of determining root cause Manage changes, defects, and projects across various testing and production environments Provide application support, ensuring stability for high-volume, multi-tiered, distributed transactional applications in production Defect triage in application testing environments Deploy code and/or retrofit production code Communicate with clients and/or consult on infrastructure design Rebuild servers Work independently and as part of a team Collaborate with testers and developers to ensure cohesive working System patching Technical documentation Partner and communicate with internal customers and partner teams Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communication, Information Technology 5+ years of experience with Windows 2022 Server, IIS, and .Net application integration in large complex environments Hands-on experience with DevOps on Windows operating systems, system administration and automation Ability to plan, design, create programs, and document through Agile framework DevOps using XLR/Ansible Hands-on experience with Application Middleware (.Net, IIS, JRE, etc.) Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting Environment management skills on Windows servers Ability to troubleshoot application integration issues in Windows environment Basic understanding and troubleshooting experience of multi-tier applications, networking, SQL Good working knowledge of CI/CD processes like Ansible, Jira, XLR, etc. Knowledge of Windows PowerShell scripting Prior finance work experience Ability to debug and troubleshoot performance and software issues Able to handle multiple tasks/projects and adapt to a constantly changing environment Pay range : $63.68 - $71.68 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
