Community Solutions is seeking a Workforce Development Facilitator II with expertise in project management, curriculum development, and best practices in substance use disorder treatment. This role coordinates and oversees the development and facilitation of training courses related to substance use disorders, treatment methods, client engagement, recovery pathways, dual diagnosis, harm reduction, overdose prevention, and related topics. The ideal candidate supports DEIB, partners with the community to ensure access to high-quality care, and has experience implementing evidence-based practices and developing training content for adult learners. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver engaging training sessions on substance use disorders (SUD), evidence-based practices, and client-centered approaches for adult learners in behavioral health settings. Create training curricula, presentations, and supporting materials that translate complex concepts into accessible, practical tools for diverse professional audiences. Facilitate interactive learning experiences (workshops, webinars, blended formats) that promote skill-building and knowledge retention. Stay current with research, policies, and best practices in SUD treatment, prevention, and recovery support, and integrate this knowledge into training content. Ensure high-quality standards for agency staff and community workshops by applying adult learning principles and effective teaching methods. Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and implement training courses related to SUD treatment and related subjects. Manage project lifecycles, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting for course development and implementation. Integrate DEIB principles into course materials and learning platforms. Use evaluation data to inform strategy and improve staff knowledge and skills in SUD treatment. Produce clear course syllabi, presentations, training guides, and related materials (articles, short videos, etc.). Demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Collaborate with external consultants, learning partners, and state-wide stakeholders. Qualifications and Knowledge Fully bilingual and biliterate in Spanish or another threshold language (e.g., Vietnamese, Tagalog). 3+ years of experience providing SUD services and/or facilitating related training in health, human services, or similar fields. Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public health, education, related field, or CADC credential; higher-level certification (e.g., CADC-II, LAADC) preferred. Strong project management skills with ability to create and manage project plans, set objectives, and track progress. Commitment to fostering diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces and developing skilled staff. Knowledge of DEIB principles and ability to integrate them into training content. Experience facilitating training using adult learning practices with groups of 50+ across disciplines and leadership levels. Strong facilitation, communication, and ability to engage diverse audiences. Proficient writing skills for grant reports, event descriptions, and English language usage. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. Familiarity with eLearning software, project management tools (Microsoft Projects, Teams, SharePoint) and presentation tools (Canva, Zoom). Special Requirements : Must be able to receive criminal records clearance as required by programs and licensing regulations. Position requires an automobile to perform routine duties. Use data to inform strategy and improvements in staff knowledge and skills. Write clear course syllabi, training guides, and related communications. Show initiative and the ability to work independently or with a team. Collaborate with external partners and state-wide stakeholders. The annual base salary starts at $75,000. Salary grade and range determined during interviews based on education, licensure, experience, knowledge, skills, and market data. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision premiums paid by the employer for full-time employees and eligible dependents; 403(b) with 5% employer match; vacation, holidays, sick time, and other ancillary benefits; and professional development opportunities. Work Environment and Location : Located within commutable distance to Gilroy headquarters with hybrid options; travel to San Jose and Morgan Hill offices as needed.
