Armed Security Professional - Government Site at Allied Universal in Crozier, VA. This is an armed patrol position at a government site requiring you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as part of daily duties. You will interact with staff and visitors, provide professional customer service, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism in a security role. What You’ll Do

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including government facilities Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the government facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns according to site protocols. Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors. Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and/or other defensive equipment as required by site policies and regulations. Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies. Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific procedures to support a secure environment. What We’re Looking For

Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by state and/or local regulations Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client Must be at least 21 years of age A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located is required Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law Participate in industry-specific security training programs Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only Why Join Us
