Role Overview We're looking for a seasoned
Full Stack Engineer
to help architect and build the next generation of our AI-powered insurance platform. You'll work across the stack to design modern, responsive web applications, scalable microservices, integrations, and APIs—delivering seamless experiences for agents and policyholders while modernizing traditional insurance workflows. In this role, you'll collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Business, Data, Finance, and Operations teams to scale operational effectiveness in our high-growth environment.
What You'll Do
Design AI-Powered Systems: Architect agentic AI workflows to automate and innovate solutions for insurance agents and customers
Develop Microservices: Use Java, Spring-based microservices architecture to build out loosely coupled and scalable components
Integration Engineering: Integrate with other insurance systems and provide APIs to be consumed by frontend applications
Design scalable frontend architecture with modular components and minimal technical debt
Design and develop intuitive, high-performance enterprise web applications using Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, and related technologies
Monitoring Implementation: Implement monitoring and observability solutions to understand system health
Quality Assurance: Implement component, integration, and end-to-end test cases to automate testing
Data Engineering: Participate in data engineering tasks like data migration and ETL processes
Build responsive interfaces that work seamlessly across devices and browsers
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Technical Documentation: Document solution architecture and design considerations
Requirements What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
5+ years of experience building enterprise applications
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture
Proven experience with Enterprise Java and Spring tech stack (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring AI)
Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks such as React (preferred), Vue, or Svelte, with deep understanding of component-based architecture and state management
Strong command of HTML, CSS, and CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS
Comfort working with streaming and real-time AI outputs (e.g., token-level updates, WebSockets, server-sent events)
Experience with Next.js framework and server-side rendering concepts
Knowledge of state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.)
Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
Experience designing and building RESTful APIs
Experience using LLM based workflows and integrating AI capabilities into applications
Working knowledge of AWS services like SQS, SNS, S3, RDS, and Lambda
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Next.js framework and server-side rendering concepts
Knowledge of state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.)
Experience with vector databases (e.g., PGVector, Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus)
Experience with cloud deployment services (AWS preferred, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with message queues and event-driven architecture
Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, or TestContainers
Experience with performance optimization and scalability challenges in high-traffic applications
Understanding of caching mechanisms and strategies (Redis, Memcached)
Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Datadog)
