We are seeking a Senior Research Associate to contribute to our team and work under the general supervision of a senior level scientist. Responsibilities

Culture, freeze, bank and seed mammalian cells for imaging assays. Provide R&D with samples that have passed developed QC tests for R&D development. Prepare buffers, media, solutions and other reagents in accordance with standard lab practices. Maintain lab equipment and cleanliness. Perform and monitor inventory of supplies and reagents used and place orders for replenishment. Provide hands-on lab support to the team to reach department goals. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and accurate lab records. Qualifications

B.S. in life science, biochemistry or a related field Basic knowledge around key areas including nucleic acid purification and characterization, oligo-dye conjugation Basic knowledge in standard molecular biology techniques such as nucleic acid amplification and purification (RNA/DNA), qPCR, gel electrophoresis, FISH and DNA sequencing or similar molecular biology techniques Highly motivated with excellent attention to detail. Good communication (oral and written) and collaboration skills A willingness to learn new techniques and methods. The candidate should be team-minded and have a positive attitude and strong desire to learn and improve At least 2 years of hands-on cell culture laboratory experience Capability to manage large numbers of independent cell lines is required Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and be able to critically analyze data and communicate results to the team The ideal candidate can manage multiple concurrent projects and must bring a can-do attitude and sense of purpose and urgency to the job Excellent pipette and liquid-handling and sterile technique Must be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures Additional Desirable Skills

At least 2 years of experience with tissue sectioning (FF and FFPE), H&E staining and mounting of research specimens Performing histo techniques including tissue intake, embedding, FFPE/FF Prepare and deliver sectioned FF and/or FFPE samples for processing by R&D Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DOE) and various laboratory instruments such as Thermal Cyclers, gel-based equipment, Nanodrop, Plate readers, and Qubit Compensation and Benefits

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $95,400 and $168,000. The base salary will depend on factors including education, training, experience, geographic location, skills, and travel requirements. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive and benefits including 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off, and holidays.
