This position develops new/existing business relationships in the Small to Medium size Business market (SMB). The incumbent drives revenue growth through strategic, customer focused selling. This role will identify, position, and expand opportunities for all UPS Global Freight Forwarding products/services.
Responsibilities include:
penetrating existing account base to better understand full supply chain
coordinating customer meetings with decision-makers to identify needs and develop sales strategies
identifying areas of churn to win back business
prospecting new business
targeting customer opportunities exceeding $500,000 annually
facilitating customer entertainment
collaborating with Operations
educating customers on technology solutions
applying sales strategies
planning Quarterly Business Reviews
participating in joint customer calls
attending functional meetings
identifying account decliners/gainers
using CRM software to develop strategic plans
Preferences include research and territory sales planning skills, complex problem solving, perpetual learning, proficiency with Microsoft Office, minimum 3 years of territory management and sales experience, business-to-business or business-to-consumer sales experience, bachelor's degree in Business or related field, and minimum 3 years of Freight Forwarding sales experience.
Basic qualifications require U.S. citizenship or lawful work authorization, current geographic location or willingness to relocate, availability for flexible hours, and willingness to travel. Employer will not sponsor visas.
