About the Job
Adjunct Assistant Faculty in the School of Dentistry's Comprehensive Care Clinic are responsible for overseeing, teaching, and directing pre-doctoral students in comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, treatment, and management of dental patients. They support Group Leaders in evaluating students' clinical and professional development. They must be proficient in teaching, demonstrating, and assessing procedures in restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, and periodontics, as well as managing dental emergencies. They are expected to support all clinical policies and procedures of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Please note that these are part-time positions. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
DDS, DMD or equivalent degree License to practice dentistry in Minnesota In good standing with the Minnesota Board of Dentistry Five or more years' experience in general dentistry practice Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in clinical or preclinical teaching Experience in community outreach settings AEGD or GPR certificate Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. All qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
