Role: AWS cloud Architect Location: Houston, TX or Chicago, IL Duration: 6 months Responsibilities
Lead enterprise architecture models and repositories Design secure cloud architectures Assess and manage cloud-related risks Ensure data security and compliance Develop strategies across multiple disciplines Design and implement AWS cloud architecture solutions following Well-Architected framework principles Lead enterprise architecture models and establish cloud standards Develop strategies across multiple domains and subject areas Facilitate development of architecture patterns Provide thought leadership in cloud technologies Guide teams in implementing cloud-native solutions Ensure cloud security and compliance adherence Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost and performance Preferred: Design and develop AI/ML solutions aligned with business objectives Preferred: Create scalable AI architectures that integrate with existing systems Preferred: Lead AI project teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders Preferred: Evaluate and implement new AI technologies and methodologies Preferred: Ensure AI models are ethical, unbiased, and compliant with regulations Preferred: Optimize AI model performance and efficiency Preferred: Provide technical mentorship to data scientists and engineers Preferred: Translate complex AI concepts for non-technical audiences Preferred: Contribute to the company’s AI strategy and roadmap Qualifications
Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field AWS Professional level certifications 12+ years experience in AWS cloud computing / cloud architecture; Finance applications Architect background preferred Proven experience in enterprise architecture Strong leadership and communication skills Experience in cloud transformation initiatives Expertise in developing cloud governance frameworks Proficiency in software development languages (Python, Java, C#, or similar) Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, APIs, and integration patterns Deep expertise in AWS services and architecture best practices; understanding of the AWS Well-Architected framework Knowledge of cloud providers and security frameworks Experience with infrastructure as code Experience in vulnerability remediation Understanding of containerization and microservices Understanding of DevOps and Preferred: MLOps practices Knowledge of data processing and big data technologies Note: This description keeps the original role and requirements and organizes them into standard sections with proper HTML structure.
