Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. Job Summary: Manage the daily operations of all buildings and assets at Universal Orlando, including City Walk venues, resort walkways and waterways, back-of-house support buildings, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida, parking structures, and new facilities.

Major Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of facilities, equipment, and personnel, ensuring guest and employee safety. Lead safety compliance efforts and coordinate with safety representatives. Act as liaison with the State of Florida and regulatory agencies.

Monitor routine budgets daily; develop and prioritize annual Capital and Expense budgets; present these to executives.

Review new attraction criteria and designs to ensure proper delivery, safety, and reliability. Conduct weekly reviews of all new attraction scopes of work and designs.

Foster growth and development of team members. Ensure proper training for work activities and team management.

Implement GSAT initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance attraction operational readiness. Set engineering team priorities daily.

Promote TSAT and employee safety and training; serve as UO TSAT department champion.

Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures, and training. Engage team members in safety activities.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business management or construction preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 10+ years in facility maintenance with relevant training and inspection experience.

Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: State General or Certified or Registered Contractor preferred.

Understanding of division operating plans and company goals

Management of policies and procedures across divisions

Accountability for key performance indicators such as Annual Operating Plan, GSAT, TSAT
