Technical Source
Technical Source is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to supervise and mentor a team of developers while contributing hands-on to enterprise-level applications in the healthcare industry. These applications process medical imaging data (MRI, ultrasound, etc.), enabling radiologists to evaluate patient health and deliver timely results.
Base pay range
$60.00/hr - $70.00/hr Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coach a team of Software Engineers, providing leadership and guidance. Drive development of web-based applications, including image viewers, scheduling systems, and radiology information system components. Conduct code reviews and approve merges to ensure quality and maintain best practices. Own features and functionality end-to-end across multiple software modules. Mentor junior developers and foster technical growth within the team. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 10+ years of software development experience. Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL). Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs. Proven experience optimizing front-end code for performance and scalability. Expertise in scalable UI design and development. Proficiency with debugging tools such as Chrome Developer Tools. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js. Desired Skills & Abilities
Strong English communication skills (written and oral). Familiarity with the DICOM standard for medical imaging. Proficiency with Git and modern frameworks/tools such as React.js, jQuery, Backbone, Express, and Fastify. Seniority level and Employment type
