We are looking for a System Administrator who has strong expertise in Intune Autopilot to work onsite at our client's location either in Torrance, CA or Marysville, OH. There is a strong emphasis on Intune Autopilot for this position and hence, the ideal candidate will have advanced skills with this specific technology.

This Client Engineer/System Admin will be responsible for the definition of technical standards and maintenance of end user compute devices. They are to perform well-organized and timely deployments of applications, major upgrades, security updates and patches to this environment. They will also assist with final resolution of escalated incidents and participate in problem management activities to address recurring issues. The Sr Client Engineer will also be tasked with participating in and/or managing cross-functional team projects to implement new or updated technology to improve the stability, security, management, or efficiency of our client\'s compute resources, with the goal of a zero-touch desktop deployment system via Autopilot with MEM for Windows devices.

Primary Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Windows client architecture through a strong understanding of industry best practices, and manage solutions to support management of endpoint devices as well as provide advanced troubleshooting for complex issues related to Operating System, Enterprise Software or Configuration settings on these devices.

Define technical standards and maintenance of end user compute devices.

Perform well-organized and timely deployments of applications, major upgrades, security updates and patches to the client environment.

Develop and manage a zero-touch desktop deployment system.

Develop the strategic project goals and targets for the Digital Workplace unit annually.

Participate in and/or manage cross-functional team projects to implement new or updated technology to improve the stability, security, management, or efficiency of our compute resources.

Required Technical Skills and Expertise

Strong background in working with Intune Autopilot design experience

Application packaging and deployment within targeting UEM applications such as MS Endpoint Configuration Manager, and Intune.

Experience working hands on with the Windows platform and Intune / SCCM (Configuration Manager) deployment tools

Enterprise design & architecture of Intune PC management

Regular use of PowerShell scripting.

Advanced Windows and MAC operating system configuration and troubleshooting knowledge.

Hands on experience of ongoing administration and service maintenance.

Strong Windows 10/11 troubleshooting skills.

Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019 interface and management.

Knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy Objects and Group Policy Preferences.

5 years working with Active Directory and Group Policy.

Experience with Microsoft Intune Endpoint Manager.

Experience working with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint or similar antivirus product.

Custom reporting and dashboard creation within UEM tools to include PowerBI.

Experience using ServiceNow or other related ITSM platform

ITIL foundations use ITSM tools to include inventory, incident, request, problem, change and release management activities

Focus on testing and distribution of authorized patches

Provide administration support for the rollout of security products.

Well-versed in Image Management: endpoint (PC and Server) operating system build, customizations (task sequence), and deployment

Skilled in operating system version upgrade provisioning and deployment.

Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager or Endpoint Manager experience is a plus.

Experience with Microsoft cloud licensing; Microsoft 365 E3 and E5, EM+S, Intune, or Office 365 E3 is a plus
