100% Remote We are looking for a Frontend Engineer needed for our client’s Information Security team to do feature development for a threat modeling tool. This threat modeling tool is used by Security Professionals and developers. Note: Applicants must be willing and able to work on a W2 basis. For W2 consultants, benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, a 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Rate: $65 - $80 / hr. W2 Responsibilities
Develop and maintain user interfaces for a threat modeling tool Implement server-side logic using Node.js Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends Troubleshoot and debug issues across various browsers and devices Apply knowledge of threat modeling and security risks to enhance the tool's features Time management Experience Requirements
JavaScript Node.js HTML/CSS Front-end Frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) The project currently uses Mithril; prior Mithril experience is a huge plus (https://mithril.js.org/) Responsive Design Cross-browser Compatibility Version Control (Git) UI/UX Design Principles API Integration Knowledge of Threat Modeling or Security Risks (preferred) Docker and Kubernetes knowledge for deployment (plus) Note: Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range shown reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that could result in pay outside of the provided range. Benefits & Additional Information
