Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for completing mapping and geospatial analysis tasks supporting the screening, planning, development, permitting, and construction of renewable energy projects, including: Assisting with renewable energy site selection and characterization studies to screen for project risks, fatal flaws, and overall viability. Researching, compiling, analyzing, and integrating GIS data into web maps and enterprise geodatabases. Maintaining proprietary datasets related to North American energy markets. Performing and automating multi-criteria spatial analysis. Providing support for permitting at federal, state, and local levels, including creating maps and figures for stakeholder engagement. Supporting the optimization of project layouts and setback requirements. Maintaining data integrity standards and ensuring maps and analysis comply with industry standards. Supporting GIS training and troubleshooting existing GIS applications, tools, and data. Creating, maintaining, and supporting ArcGIS Online & ArcGIS Portal services, web maps, and apps. Assisting in maintaining and developing ArcGIS Enterprise & Portal workflows. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or Geospatial Science. 2+ years of related professional experience. Competencies:

Knowledge of GIS concepts and the ESRI ArcGIS platform. Proficiency in Python, JSON, SQL, and Arcade for analysis and automation. Experience with Survey123, Field Maps, and mobile GIS applications. Ability to convert data from KML/KMZ or CAD formats into ArcGIS formats. Interest in renewable energy and environmental regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to complete responsibilities professionally and timely. What We Offer:
