Overview
IT System Administrator (TS/SCI with Polygraph) role supporting a mission critical prime program. Responsibilities include the installation, configuration, and integration of new systems and applications into client IT environments, including cloud, network, LDAP, and certificate-based infrastructure. Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, configuration, and integration of new systems/applications into client IT environments (cloud, network, LDAP, certificate-based infrastructure). Support and sustain system health through basic troubleshooting, monitoring, and log analysis. Document procedures and resolutions for knowledge sharing and future reference. Engage professionally with clients and internal teams; communicate clearly and effectively. Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional IT experience, including 3+ years in system administration. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Experience with command-line interfaces (CLI) and exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git). Understanding of fundamental networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, subnets). Experience with LDAP/Active Directory structure and authentication; SSL/TLS certificate usage and basic management. Awareness of security best practices (e.g., user permissions, patching). Understanding of basic cloud concepts (IaaS, PaaS); familiarity with AWS components (EC2, IAM, S3). Basic knowledge of Docker and container orchestration concepts (Kubernetes awareness; actual experience a plus). Interest in automation or infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform). Willingness to work off-hours occasionally for updates or incident resolution. Preferred/Bonus Skills
Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Entry-level certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Linux+; AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner; Docker Certified Associate or CKA. Compensation & Benefits
