Our client, The Jupiter Group, is seeking a Project Manager to support the Security & Compliance department with implementing and securing cloud environments, overseeing security architecture, managing project plans and resources, and ensuring compliance with security standards and frameworks. Project Background:

CLIENT is launching a cloud transformation initiative focused on delivering quick wins and foundational capabilities. Early efforts target data and analytics, productivity tools, and security governance, with cross-functional coordination across Big Data, Infrastructure & Operations, Security & Compliance, Applications, Client Services, and Business Solutions. Responsibilities: Lead technical projects from initiation through implementation, including RFP development, vendor selection, proof of concept, requirements gathering, design, development/configuration, testing, integration, data conversion, user acceptance, go-live, and project close. Manage projects across diverse technology domains such as enterprise applications, infrastructure upgrades, data platforms, digital transformation initiatives, and IT support operations. Coordinate and oversee the utilization of shared resources across multiple projects, ensuring effective allocation and prioritization requirements are met. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, secure and organize resources, coordinate project activities, monitor budgets, assess dependencies, and manage project issues. Monitor project progress and adjust resources and priorities accordingly. Assess project dependencies, risks, budget constraints, and resource conflicts to ensure successful implementation, including contingency planning. Support continuous improvement of project management methodologies and tools. Requirements: 5+ years of project management experience in the IT security & compliance field. 5+ additional years of IT professional experience. Strong domain knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS). Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including network security, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), data protection, cloud architecture, risk management, threat modeling, and defense-in-depth. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) within cloud platforms. Strong understanding of security risk frameworks and industry security standards relevant to cloud computing. Ability to ensure security projects adhere to security policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations. Project management and information security certifications (PMP, CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, etc.) are preferred. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
