We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer within the Atlanta, GA area to lead the comprehensive lifecycle management of our cloud environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency. Rate: $58,834.00 - $158,800.00 / yr. w2 Responsibilities Responsibilities
Design & Deploy:
Collaborate with development teams, architects, and security teams to design cloud-native solutions and integrate applications seamlessly with cloud infrastructure. Optimize & Automate:
Create scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions across AWS and GCP. Lead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using Terraform or CloudFormation. Enhance CI/CD:
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable deployment. Cost Management:
Monitor and optimize cloud spending, implementing cost-saving measures and developing reporting mechanisms. Security & Compliance:
Enforce security best practices and compliance to protect cloud environments and data integrity. Experience Requirements
What We’re Looking For: Experience:
7+ years in cloud technologies, with expertise in multi-cloud or hybrid environments. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), scripting languages (Python, Bash/Shell, PowerShell), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP). Cloud Networking:
Hands-on experience with VPC, security groups, direct connect, subnets, load balancers, Route 53, Aviatrix, VPN, and Transit Gateways. FinOps Expertise:
Drive FinOps best practices by monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing cloud spend. Leadership:
Mentor junior cloud engineers and develop comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.
