Overview

The GCIP Release Manager will lead and coordinate all release activities across the GCIP platform, ensuring timely, secure, and compliant delivery of platform features and enhancements. This role manages dependencies across multiple scrum teams, aligns with PI planning cycles, and maintains release integrity across environments (Dev, Test, Production). Own and manage the end-to-end release lifecycle for GCIP platform components including CM, IM, MO, and Event Source. Responsibilities

Collaborate with AppDev, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure readiness for each release phase (MVP1–MVP4). Maintain and communicate the release calendar, coordinating across PI planning, system demos, and iteration reviews. Drive branching strategy and version control practices across GCIP repositories, ensuring consistency and traceability. Facilitate release readiness reviews, including feature tagging, test coverage validation, and stakeholder sign-offs. Facilitate risk management and rollback planning as part of release governance. Track and improve release metrics and drive automation in release processes. Remain calm under pressure and lead during incident remediation when needed. 5+ years of experience in release management or technical program management. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git branching strategies, GitHub actions, and DevOps tooling. Experience coordinating releases across multiple agile teams and environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Qualifications
