Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Engineer to join our team in support of the Everglades Restoration Program. This role involves working on a significant pump station project, contributing to the restoration efforts in South Florida.

Responsibilities

Handle submittals, requests for information, daily reports, and coordinate between subcontractors.

Support the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in managing various project aspects.

Update job progress reports, submittal log, and the 4-week look ahead schedule.

Assist with project management in the absence of the Project Manager.

Essential Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in civil or mechanical construction projects.

Proficiency in handling RFIs, submittals, material take-offs, blueprints/drawings, and field inspections.

Strong computer skills with preferred experience in P6 Software, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar software.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with USACE and/or SFWMD is a plus.

Work Environment The Project Engineer will work at one of the following pump station sites: G-6A Pump Station or S-623 Pump Station. You will collaborate with a team of professionals, including QC, site safety, and administrative staff.

Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.84 - $38.46/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
