Overview
The Opportunity: CACI is seeking SAP Functional Subject Matter Expert (Purchasing/Accounts Payable) to support a federal client in either Reston, Virginia or Denver, Colorado. We are looking for an SAP FI expert with an Accounts Payable focus, experienced in both implementation and operations & maintenance (O&M) support, with good customer-facing skills. Familiarity with AP-related business processes and interfaces with the AP module is a plus. This is a functional consultant role with full life cycle experience plus O&M support for end users. Responsibilities
Defect resolution including documentation, configuration, and testing End user support System enhancements including documentation, configuration, and testing Status reporting on a weekly basis Lead meetings to coordinate all activities Serve as SAP functional expert on the business process team with primary focus in Accounts Payable Support a large number of custom AP-related interfaces Troubleshoot production issues in Accounts Payable Play a lead role in deployment of new or modified RICEF objects, including FDS development, TDS review, test case development/review, integration test case development, batch job testing, etc. Participate in blueprint workshops to assess module functionality and perform gap analysis for new development or configuration changes Create or modify Functional Design Specification documentation Perform and support AP testing efforts Provide end user helpdesk support in production Author change requests for break-fix or enhancements, including documenting, testing, and migrating changes through the landscape Analyze and decompose complex business requirements Architect solutions to meet business requirements Provide thought leadership on SAP technologies aligned to customer roadmaps Provide scope and effort assessments for maintenance and enhancement change requests Participate in solution reviews and walkthroughs to communicate system designs Document requirements, create functional specifications and system configuration documents Configure and test functionality of the end product per requirements Develop training materials for end users Provide Level 2 support for reported incidents Qualifications
Required: Demonstrated experience as SAP Finance AP SME; 8-10 years, public sector preferred Demonstrated experience in Federal Industry; 8-10 years General knowledge of MS Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Bachelor's Degree Ability to obtain a NACI Public Trust clearance Desired: SAP Funds Management (specifically use of earmarked fund / fund commitment) Ability to create technical documentation content and templates This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
