Work from requirements specifications to develop or modify software applications Design, code, benchmark test, debug, and document application features and changes Review and assess existing enterprise applications to support new features, performance improvements, upgrades, and sustainment Participate in performance, load, and stress testing and remediation of issues Participate in security architecture reviews of large enterprise systems Contribute to the development of new systems throughout the full software lifecycle: requirements analysis & definition, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment Develop documentation, test scripts, and training materials to ensure successful use of systems Collaborate in an agile team environment, including sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and daily standups You will have the opportunity to grow your expertise with a team of software engineering and cyber security experts addressing cyber defense challenges with creative and innovative solutions. Required Qualifications/Skills
U.S. Citizenship; active or interim DoD SECRET clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI DoDD 8140.01 IAM Level I certification or higher AI/ML engineering experience designing, developing, and deploying production-scale ML systems and infrastructure ML systems experience in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining ML models Proficiency with Git, automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and GitLab Data engineering experience with ETL, data streaming, and distributed data processing Strong database and infrastructure experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud platforms (Azure), and containerization Experience developing custom visualization solutions for data analysis, dashboards, and reporting interfaces Solid knowledge of software requirements, design, code, benchmark testing, debugging, SDLC, architecture, and documentation Experience with at least one of: C#, Java, or Python ML engineering experience including MLOps and model lifecycle management; cloud-native ML platform development; API design and integration for ML services Desired Skills/Qualifications
Experience building ML systems for cybersecurity applications (threat detection, anomaly detection, security analytics) Experience working in Azure, preferably Azure Government Experience with DoD customers and cybersecurity projects Additional: Kubernetes, Docker, Helm; Kubeflow, MLFlow or similar pipelines; ELK Stack; PowerBI; Apache Jena Fuseki; Apache NiFi; CI/CD pipelines; automated testing tools and processes Who are we?
