2026 Spring-Summer Software Engineering Undergraduate Co-Op (R15013) at MKS Inc. A Day In Your Life At MKS. As a Software Engineering Intern at MKS Power Solutions, you will develop and port code for a next generation controller platform. In this role, you will report to the Software Development Manager responsible for this project. Responsibilities
Work with the team developing the next generator platform for RF and DC Power Generators. Port application code from an older platform to a newer platform using C++. Port firmware code from an older platform to a newer platform using Vivado IP Integrator, MATLAB/Simulink/HDL coder, and VHDL. Port Web design code from an older platform to a newer platform using Node.js. Work with Python and Bash scripting languages. Travel: Up to 0% of travel is required. Qualifications
Current 3rd or 4th year Engineering student. Familiarity with C++ programming language. Familiarity with VHDL. Familiarity with MATLAB. Familiarity with Python. Preferred Skills (Optional)
Familiarity with Node.js. Compensation And Benefits
Hourly Pay Range: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on qualifications, experience, and business needs. At MKS, it is not typical to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role. Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
