Overview
This position is onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio. We are looking to hire an experienced Data Engineer to develop new data features and provide support of data integrations and data products with more experienced engineers across disciplines. Specifically, building and maintaining integrations via ETL (DataStage) and data products (Snowflake). Rate: $76-$84/ hr. w2 Responsibilities
Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data. Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming. Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations. Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality. Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams. Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions. Monitor system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting and integrating new features. Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems. Educate staff members through training and individual support. Offer support by responding to system problems in a timely manner. Experience Requirements
MUST HAVE SKILLS Database (SQL, Oracle) DB2 Elevate ETL (DataStage) NICE TO HAVE SKILLS: Financial Services/Banking Job Monitoring (SiteScope, Dynatrace, Etc.) Kafka Scripting (Python, SAS) Education Requirements
Undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or a related discipline. Additional Information
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
