Security Professional - Armed Government Site - Afternoon Shift

Las Vegas, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine armed patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to all individuals on site. This position requires you to demonstrate professionalism, strong communication, and a commitment to Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.96 / Hour Job Schedule Monday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tuesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor the premises for potential security-related concerns and report any unusual circumstances to the appropriate personnel. Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or members of the public, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and promote a secure environment at the location. Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client-specific guidelines while performing armed patrol duties. What We’re Looking For Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
