Mechanical Designer - Architecture & Engineering – Albany, NY Responsibilities
Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents Assist in spatial coordination with architecture and other engineering systems Process contractor submittals and perform on-site condition surveys Work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment to produce integrated project documents and ensure integrated design approaches and solutions Qualifications
Minimum of an Associates Degree 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience for a construction, architecture, or engineering company PE certification is highly desirable, but not required Proficient in the use of Revit and other engineering design tools Strong knowledge in the design of heating, cooling, heat rejection, air distribution, ventilation, AC, building automation and controls Understanding of mechanical design, physics, microfabrication, CAD and data analysis Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to present complex technical information clearly Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Salary & Benefits
Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr Competitive salary plus comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, dental, disability, and 401k Employee stock ownership eligibility Flexible PTO Long-term career growth opportunities About the Company
We are a multidisciplinary design and engineering firm with global offices servicing healthcare, aerospace, education, government, and hospitality clients.
