Senior Fullstack Software Engineer – Tampa, FL
Responsibilities
Kforce is looking for Senior Fullstack Software Engineers. Qualified candidates will be designing, building and optimizing Golang-based microservices and backend systems to support a Service Mesh platform using Golang, AWS, Terraform, MongoDB, Dynamo, JavaScript, IAM, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GIT. Write high performance, maintainable and scalable code to handle production workloads. Maintain and troubleshoot Service Mesh components, ensuring high availability and reliability across all environments, including production. Work on Golang services that interact with Kubernetes. Coordinate AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters to ensure optimal performance and scalability of the Service Mesh. Develop Golang applications that integrate with cloud-native technologies like AWS, EKS and Kubernetes. Migrate and optimize Jenkins pipelines for various mesh-related projects, ensuring smooth integration of Golang-based services and automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Ensure that Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) tests are integrated into the development cycle, running regularly and providing valuable feedback to developers. Focus on building high-quality, testable Golang code. Build and maintain a user interface (UI) for managing mesh component configurations. Salary: $55.00 to $90.00/hr. Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one year's experience in position or IT field (or 3 year diploma or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and three years of experience in position or IT field). Special requirements: Experience with Golang, AWS, Terraform, MongoDB, Dynamo, JavaScript, IAM, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and GIT. The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
