This position is remote, with some projects requiring flexibility for meetings with global participants in South America, Asia, and Europe. Compensation range for this position is $170,000.00 - $190,000.00. Position

Commercial Systems Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-level commercial platforms. The role bridges business strategy and technical execution, ensuring scalable, secure, and customer-centric commerce platforms for B2B and B2C operations. Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end architecture of Dynamics 365 Commerce implementations, including integrations with ERP and CRM systems. Define and document solution architecture, including catalog management, pricing logic, customer identity, and storefront UX/UI. Guide cross-functional teams including Project Managers, functional consultants, developers, integration specialists, and QA engineers. Ensure alignment with Microsoft’s Success by Design framework and best practices. Architect inbound/outbound integrations, custom workflows, and reporting dashboards using Power BI and Azure services. Implement and deploy commercial applications with mobile interfaces and cloud/SaaS delivery models, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across platforms. Evaluate and select technologies and frameworks for mobile and cloud-based commerce solutions. Support sales and marketing functions across platforms and tools—from CRM and campaign automation to analytics and post-sale support systems. Design and integrate solutions that manage and automate customer interactions throughout the lifecycle, including prospecting, engagement, conversion, and retention. Collaborate with business leaders to translate strategic goals into technical solutions. Present architecture plans, cost breakdowns, and implementation timelines to stakeholders. Key Competencies and Experience

17+ years of experience in the IT industry 10+ years of experience in a systems architect role Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce, including B2B portal implementations and storefront customization Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, and integration frameworks Experience deploying mobile and SaaS-based commercial applications Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., JDE, Oracle EBS) and their integration with third-party applications Experience with UI/UX design principles and customer-centric architecture Excellent communication and documentation skills Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Solution Architect Expert Experience with Success by Design methodology and FastTrack engagements Background in retail, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical commerce platforms Benefits
