Associate Manager Digital Experience at Staples. This is a hybrid role based in Framingham, MA. Staples is business to business. You’re what binds us together. Our eCommerce team strives to showcase Staples’ value proposition and experience to customers through digital vehicles, including SEO, paid search, display affiliates, paid social media and more. We utilize online merchandising and campaigns—executed by both humans and automated tools—to convert visitors into customers. Our team ensures mobile and desktop websites are easy to use, delivering the digital experience our customers expect, while building an innovation pipeline for the future. We work end-to-end with sales, merchandising, marketing, analytics and technology teams to provide a world-class, holistic digital experience and growing profitable results in a fun and rewarding work environment. What you’ll be doing

Oversee implementation of digital experience initiatives across mobile, desktop, and app platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Lead and manage site enhancements, feature updates, and optimization efforts based on data-driven insights. Collaborate with marketing, sales, merchandising, and product teams to create seamless, innovative customer experiences. Run A/B tests, gather user feedback, and perform data analysis to drive continuous improvements. Monitor digital trends and technologies to keep Staples at the forefront of eCommerce innovation. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of creativity and improvement. Influence customer satisfaction and loyalty through enhanced site functionality and user experience. Drive increased sales and market competitiveness by optimizing digital touchpoints. Support Staples’ strategic goal of becoming the digital selling platform of choice. Lead high-impact innovation initiatives to redefine processes and introduce new technologies. What you bring to the table

Demonstrates a strong customer-centric approach and applies critical thinking to solve complex challenges. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and guide collaborators. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. High-level communication and interpersonal abilities for navigating complex organizational structures. Expertise with digital analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics, including segmentation and funnel analysis. Demonstrated project management skills using Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Asana. Solid grasp of the digital marketing ecosystem—SEO, Paid Search, email marketing, content strategy, and social media. Proficiency in CMS and digital marketing tools to enhance website functionality and engagement. Experience with A/B testing, usability tests, and conversion optimization strategies. Ability to work cross-functionally with technology, merchandising, and finance teams to align digital enhancements with business goals. Capacity to juggle multiple priorities and manage stakeholder expectations while delivering projects on time and within budget. What’s Needed — Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, or a related field managing digital platforms and enhancing customer experience. Skilled in analytics and reporting tools like Adobe, Tableau or Microsoft Power BI for actionable data insights. Advanced proficiency in digital analytics and project management tools. Basic understanding of UX/UI principles. What’s Needed — Preferred Qualifications

Advanced certifications such as PMP, Certified ScrumMaster, or Google Analytics Certified Professional. Extensive experience in wireframing, prototyping, and using tools like Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma. Leadership experience managing matrix teams and cross-functional projects without direct authority. Expertise with advanced SEO strategies and tools for large-scale eCommerce optimization. Background in content strategy and development for SEO-friendly, engaging content.
