As our Data Insights Engineer, you ll bridge various stakeholder groups, turning their data into narratives that spark action. You ll combine critical thinking and a strong eye for design to create dashboards that inform and inspire. This role offers the chance to own projects end-to-end, manage priorities across teams, and modernize a legacy codebase all while working in a supportive, growth-focused environment.
What you ll do:
Own dashboards and reports: Take over an existing visualization project, quickly get up to speed on its legacy code, and drive enhancements that make it your own.
Collaborate across teams: Work closely with stakeholder groups to understand their needs, manage competing priorities, and communicate trade-offs clearly to both stakeholders and your manager.
Craft compelling stories: Translate complex requirements into engaging dashboards that uncover trends and actionable insights.
Drive your projects: Execute tasks independently within sprints, proactively asking for help when needed, and deliver on commitments without constant supervision.
Elevate data quality: Use SQL to explore and deliver timely ad hoc reports to diagnose data inconsistencies.
Apply best practices: Share your knowledge of visualization tools, design thinking, and SQL within the team to raise the bar for our analytics products.

Essential qualifications:
2 3+ years of professional experience with a BI/visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and strong SQL skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholder groups and communicate prioritization decisions.
Experience in maintaining or refactoring legacy dashboards or code.
Strong eye for design and storytelling with data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have:
Background in statistics or data science.
Familiarity with user experience (UX) principles.
